Speech and language development
Speech and language development for kids is about learning to talk and understand others. It’s like learning new words, how to say them right, and talking with friends. They learn by talking and playing, making it easier to talk and understand as they grow.
Speech & AAC Intervention
Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) is a technique to aid individuals with communication difficulties using symbols, text, voice output devices, sign language and visual supports to enhance their independent communication abilities.
Handwriting improvement
Handwriting intervention helps children who struggle writing letters and numbers including reversals. It also involves using the pen with the correct pen grasp and improving posture while writing. Through guidance and practice, the child learns how to write legibly with ease and flow.
Math Intervention (Kindergarten to Algebra)
Learn math in a way that activates the child’s picture of what the numbers represent. Learn math from a concrete place with manipulatives, color coding and scaffolded worksheets. Take that learning all the way to the abstract and synthesis level demonstrating mastery of foundational math concepts! There is no need for memorization, calculator and procedural learning when the child has their picture of what the numbers mean!
Literacy support (spelling and reading)
Our literacy intervention teaches children to read and spell using structured literacy. We use multisensory linguistic evidence based methodologies to teach children the phonology, etymology and morphology of our English orthography. There is no need to memorize “sight words” or “rule breakers.” We can help the child understand how words work in a way that makes sense.
