Kellie is a knowledgeable, kind and empathetic advocate for our son. She has been helping him with his learning challenges for almost 2 years. She is patient, understanding and very helpful in providing tools for his continued growth into literacy. I’m also very impressed that she never stops advancing her own education and skills. I will also be grateful to have found her and entrusted my son’s educational support into her hands!

I worked with their son on math intervention.

My 10-year-old son has been working with Kellie for 5 months. I was a little apprehensive of an online math therapy, but Kellie made the process very simple with ideas and links for the perfect at home set up to make the sessions most productive. We are specifically working on multiplication.  My son feels more confident in his math class at school with the strategies he has been taught. Kellie can read him very well and pushes or reteaches when necessary. I am extremely thankful for her services and the progress my son has made in a short period of time.

As a parent of a non-verbal, special needs nine-year-old, Kellie Henkel has helped guide our journey with whole communication. Kellie joined our team as my son’s SLP and has been a consistent advocate for augmentative communication. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable in her craft and dedicated to your child’s success, but she is also a mother along the journey with you who is kind and compassionate. She continuously strives to hone her skills by taking additional courses in the educational arena. I highly recommend Kellie as not only an impressive speech pathologist but as an educational therapist that curtails interventions to your child’s needs.

Kellie worked with my 3 daughters on foundational math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions. My daughters do not have any kind of learning disabilities but struggled with grade level math at school. Kellie was able to teach them the needed foundational skills and are now doing amazing in school with their grade level math.  Kellie teaches from a concrete level moving to the abstract synthesis and teaches all the baby steps in between so my children can finally feel successful. They now have other kids coming to them asking for help.

My 11 yr. old Dyslexic son has been working with Kellie for almost 2 ½ years in reading and spelling therapy (SWI). He has made huge progress and continues to do so. His confidence has also grown leaps and bounds due to her therapy. Kellie has personally helped me navigate my journey with my son’s Dyslexia. She is highly skilled in literacy and I recommend her services.
