Kellie Henkel was instrumental in helping us navigate communication options and efforts with my son. She got down to his level and made speech a really fun experience. Additionally, she helped us advocate for the services he needed and jumped in with tele therapy during COVID. She has been an incredible support while navigating life with our little guy and demonstrates a wealth of knowledge and empathy for her clients and their families. ‘Thank you!’ doesn’t quite cover it, but I am eternally grateful!

Kellie is AMAZING! I am so glad I found her. From day one she has gone above and beyond to make sure my daughter is getting the help and instruction she needs.

Ms. Kellie has been an absolute blessing in our lives. She provides us with Speech Therapy for my 3-year-old who is currently on an IEP and recently diagnosed with Autism. At the first meeting, she got my son to sign and say the word, “eat!” Since then, it’s been a game changer at home! Her office is extremely comfortable, clean, and has lots of items to help my son focus during the sessions! During an IEP meeting she was my advocate in my corner and man did that bring me to tears! She truly cares about the well-being of my son and knows how to phrase things that should be done and question why they aren’t. She’s also provided a list of different OT therapists that I couldn’t find on my own, which my mama heart is so thankful for because that just shows she truly cares about my son! We love Ms. Kellie!!

Kellie has worked with my son (now 3) for about 5-6 months for speech therapy. From our initial consultation with her, I could sense how knowledgeable and passionate she is. We drove an hour each way for our sessions almost every week, but it was well worth it because my son has made such amazing progress over the past 5-6 months, specifically with his speech and articulation. Scheduling was tricky for us due to the distance and time commitment, but Kellie was always proactive, flexible, and accommodating, keeping us updated on any appointment openings from week to week. Not only is Kellie knowledgeable, but she is so great with kids – she made our son’s sessions fun, and he always came out happy, smiling, and showing off what he learned that day. In addition, Kellie provided us with guidance/advice on our son’s IEP, which we were so grateful for. I would HIGHLY recommend Kellie and am so appreciative of everything she has done for our son!

We love Mrs. Kellie! She is very knowledgeable and truly goes above and beyond to meet your child right where they are. She completely understands that not all children are the same and learn at different speeds in a variety of different ways. She is not only a family advocate, but also a friend now!
