Clear Guidance and Support for Parents
We provide special education advocacy to parents, teachers and therapists to help children with special needs get the education and services they need. It is our intention to ensure all children have equal access to free and appropriate public
education.
We can help parents understand their child’s test results and work collaboratively to create the best individualized education plan.
We help educate parents on their child’s disabilities. We collaborate with the child’s teachers and school to form a good working partnership.
We help the parents understand their rights under the law which is key to the child’s success. IEP advocacy can involve reviewing IEP documentation and providing a written report of suggested IEP changes.
We can help monitor progress as well to ensure the child is making meaningful educational gains.
We can review assessments and make suggestions for any additional assessments including Independent Educational Evaluations.
Perhaps your child has an IEP but is not making progress. Maybe the school is telling you that our child isn’t eligible for special education.
Maybe you just feel confused or need help with the IEP process in general. If the parent has a disagreement with the school, services or goals, IEP advocacy can help guide parents with the necessary next steps in navigating the IEP process.
We are here to support you! We can attend IEP meetings with you or help you behind the scenes by reviewing records, revising goals and guiding your advocacy journey. An IEP that is both robust and implemented with fidelity is essential to your child’s future!
